This is the little town where Mr. Richard Garneau, one of the founding members of PG Hardwood Flooring, cut birch himself on the family lot to provide a quality product for his family. This is also where he decided, with his partner Mr. Julien Paré, to buy a coffin shop where they established their first kiln dry, allowing them to create the flooring company in 1979. 40 years later, the family business, now led by Mr. Garneau’s children and grandchildren, is still in operation.
